Easy Set Up Guide

Congratulations on your new APEX mobile deck!  It is very possible to set up your APEX alone, but it will be easier with two people. This Easy Set Up Guide will walk you through the step-by-step process to get your APEX ready.

Tools Required

• 3/4" wrench/socket

 

Set Up Instructions for ____ (model i.e. 4x4 Landing, 6x8 Oasis, etc.) 

1. Remove all deck components from packaging: Platform frame, Legs, Steps, Decking, StepLegs and all Hardware (5 minutes)

2. Place your Platform frame upside down on a non-scratch surface, like thick grass or a blanket. (1 minute)

3. Install all (4) Legs by inserting the top end of each Leg into a leg bracket. Secure each Leg using the ___ (included hardware i.e. (4) 2-3/4" stainless steel bolts), and adjust length to your approximate desired height.  (5 minutes)

4. With Legs firmly secured, flip Platform right side up and adjust Legs to level the Platform at your desired height.

5. Install Decking by placing it securely in the Platform frame. (1 minute)

6. Attach Steps using the ___ (included hardware i.e. (2) 1-3/4" stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts). Level Steps using the ___ (included hardware i.e. (2) 1-3/4" stainless steel bolts) and adjust length to approximate desired height. (3 minutes)

7. Adjust Steps height by attaching and adjusting StepLegs using the ___ (included hardware i.e. (2) 1-3/4" stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts). (3 minutes) 

8. Attach (2) Railings with ___ (included hardware i.e. (2 each, 4 total) 1-3/4" stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts). (5 minutes)

9. Enjoy your new deck!

 

Please note: 

• Your __ (model i.e. 4x4 Landing, 6x8 Oasis, etc.) is designed for Platform surface heights of ___ to ___ inches. (5 minutes)

• Steps and Railings can be placed on any side of the Platform using pre-drilled holes. See here for measurements if you want to drill your own holes for custom placement (hole size + spacing). 

• Your __ (model i.e. 4x4 Landing, 6x8 Oasis, etc.) is designed for Platform surface heights of __ to __ inches.

• Leg feet have pre-drilled holes so they can be bolted down (optional, hardware not included.)  See here for our hardware recommendations based on the surface type you will be mounting to.
